Getting help

Here's a list of things you might find useful if you need more help.

A-Z of Library Terms - an A-Z of terms you might come across when using your Library.

library.sgul.ac.uk - our website is your starting pointing for finding out all about Library services.

Library Helpdesk  -  ask at the Helpdesk if you want to book a group discussion room, or need help with the self-service machines or the printers/photocopiers.

Research Enquiries Desk - Located in the quiet study area, you can drop by to get help on research related enquiries, such as how to access e-resources, or brief guidance on referencing.

Staffed Monday to Friday, 11am – 2pm (subject to change). Phone 020 8725 5514

Helpsheets, FAQs and videos on our Library website.

Liaison Librarians - if the information provided in the how to guides or from the Research Enquiries Desk does not meet your needs, you also have a liaison librarian who you can contact for help.

Leaflets around the Library - keep an eye out for useful information on display in the library. For example, we have leaflets on signing up to WiFi on your mobile device, and instructions on how to use the printers/photocopiers.
