All you need to know about printing

This option allows SGUL staff and students to easily print email attachments by sending them to print@sgul.ac.uk.

Note:

  • Jobs will only print in black and white.
  • There is currently no option to print the content of the email, you can only print the attachments.

  6. Pick up from the any networked printer

NOTE:

You can also forward an email with attachments to print@sgul.ac.uk

Locating files to attach when using a mobile device

When using the web version of Outlook on your mobile device, it may only give you the option to pick a file from OneDrive or from your picture gallery.

There are three options to get around this:

  1. Download the Outlook app: this enables you to attach a file from more folders on your device.
  2. Email the attachments from a personal email account to your SGUL email account, and then forward this email with attachments to print@sgul.ac.uk
  3. Save your files in OneDrive first and then pick files from there to download.

What files can I send to print?

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Powerpoint - it will print one slide per page.
  • Microsoft Word
  • PDF
  • Common picture files: gif, bmp, jpeg, png, tif
