Are you looking for some extra help with referencing, literature searching, or finding and accessing healthcare information?
Our new on-call librarian service replaces the Research Enquiries Desk and is designed to offer a more flexible approach to in-person help. There is no need to book, simply visit the Library Helpdesk between 10am and 2pm (Monday to Friday) and ask to speak to the on-call librarian.
From the big questions to the little ones, our on-call librarians are here to help.

The Nursing Associate course is taught at St George's, University of London (SGUL). From September 2019 onwards this course is validated by Kingston University. Students are enrolled at both Universities, and have 2 network logins, one for SGUL and one for Kingston University, which are used for specific resources. An explanation of which login works for which resource is below.
For all courses that start after September 2019
Use your SGUL network login to:
Sign in to Hunter (SGUL's library catalogue and search engine) so you can view your Library account and save links to journal articles that you have found on Hunter. Use your SGUL login to view the full text of electronic books and journal articles.
SGUL Wifi access: Select eduroam from the list of options
username = your whole email e.g. k12345@kingston.ac.uk
password = Your SGUL network password
This will work at any higher education institution, and possibly other places nearby or connected to such institutions (mine has worked in surprising places!)
For courses that started before September 2019, use your SGUL network login to access:
All of the above, plus SGUL Canvas. You can enrol onto the SGUL Canvas module if is not on your dashboard:
Select the icon, then find
Select the LIbrary icon and click on Enrol
For all courses starting after September 2019
Use your Kingston University network login for:
Canvas, your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The SGUL Library module should be available on your dashboard:
If you can't see it, please contact Anna El-Jouzi aeljouz@sgul.ac.uk using your University email (e.g. k12345@kingston.ac.uk) stating which course you are undertaking, and the course start date.
