On-Call Librarian - Help at Hand

Are you looking for some extra help with referencing, literature searching, or finding and accessing healthcare information?

Our new on-call librarian service replaces the Research Enquiries Desk and is designed to offer a more flexible approach to in-person help. There is no need to book, simply visit the Library Helpdesk between 10am and 2pm (Monday to Friday) and ask to speak to the on-call librarian.

From the big questions to the little ones, our on-call librarians are here to help.

Academic Success Centre

St George's Academic Success team provide one-to-one support with a range of study issues, including effective study strategies, writing academic assignments and English language help.

We offer both in-person and online appointments. In-person appointments are held at the CIDE offices, on the 6th floor of the Hunter building. Online appointments involve a video or voice call via Microsoft Teams, which you can log into using your student email address. Use this link to book an appointment: https://10to8.com/book/sgul/

If you have a quick enquiry for us that might not require a one-to-one appointment, or if you’re not able to find a date and time that suits you, you can contact us directly using this email address: as@sgul.ac.uk. We check this email regularly and try to respond as soon as possible.

Finally, visit our Canvas space Study+ for self-directed resources to boost your study practices and help you succeed on your course.
