What is Quality Improvement?

Quality improvement (QI) refers to better patient outcomes (health) brought about by a measurable change in provider behaviour (care). It is a multidisciplinary approach, enabling healthcare professionals, medical students, patients, carers, educators and researchers to work together to make improvements.
