E-Books guide

This is a guide to using SGUL's e-book collection

Find e-books

You can find the Library's e-books by searching Hunter, using the category 'Books and more' in the same way as you search for books on the Library shelves.

When you search for a subject or book title your search may retrieve information about both physical books and e-books.  Any book title that lists the option Full text available underneath the title is an e-book that you can access electronically and view online.  A book with a link to See all versions may also have a link to full text.  You can also use the Online Resources link to the left of the list of titles, to view only book titles that have an online option.

The following video shows you how to find an e-book in Hunter. You either need your SGUL username and password (SGUL students and staff) or your OpenAthens account details (NHS staff).
