Whether you are a new or returning student, this guide will give you the essential information needed to use St George's Library

Opening Hours

3 October 2016 - 31 July 2017

The Library is open:
24 hours from 8am on Mondays to 9pm on Saturdays.
Sunday opening hours are 9am – 9pm

The Computer Rooms are open:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  There are four computers linked to the NHS network, from which NHS staff can print for free. NHS staff can also use the university computers.  Ask at the library helpdesk for a university network login.

Access: You need your SGUL ID card or St George's NHS staff card to access the Library and Computer Rooms.

*Staffed opening hours: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, the Library is self-service only outside these times. Visit our self-service pages for more information.

Library Map

The Library and Computer Rooms are on 1st floor, Hunter Wing.

There are a range of study spaces available:
•    Computer Rooms
•    Silent study space
•    Quiet group study space
•    Group study rooms for a minimum of 3 people. Please book at the Library Helpdesk (available to SGUL students and staff only).

Code of Conduct

 

No food is permitted in the Library.

Drinks (in lidded containers) are allowed.

Mobile phones: you can use the silent functions only, please do not make or receive calls in the Library.

Please respect others by observing the specific rules displayed in the Quiet and Silent study areas.
