No food is permitted in the Silent Study areas.
Drinks (in lidded containers) and cold foods are allowed in the Library Foyer, Quiet Study area and in Group Discussion Rooms..
Mobile phones: Mobile phones are permitted but calls must be made or taken outside the library.
Please respect others by observing the specific rules displayed in the Quiet and Silent study areas.
Find out more about what's expected of Library users under the Library Rules tab, or by viewing our Code of Conduct on the Library website.
You need your St George's ID card to access and exit the Library and Computer Rooms at all times.
If you have forgotten your ID, you will need to sign-out a temporary pass from Security on the ground floor, behind reception. Present this at the helpdesk, along with some ID with your name on, and a member of Library staff will issue you with a day pass for the Library gates.
Users must be able to produce valid ID at the request of Library or Security staff.
