Teaching Staff

A guide for IMBE and FHSCE staff about the Library

Welcome to St George's, University of London Library

In this guide, you will find information about how the library can support your teaching, your students and your research.

The Liaison Team is your first point of contact with the library and is happy to answer your questions (even the silly ones).

We recommend that academic staff book an appointment with their Liaison Librarian to give you a personal tour of both the physical library space and our online resources. Please email your Liaison Librarian (contact details below) to organise your orientation.

Some basics

To become a member of the library you will need to come to the library helpdesk with your university staff ID and complete a short registration form.

Your library membership entitles you to borrow up to 15 physical books. For onsite and offsite access to our electronic resources, you will need your SGUL login.
