University of London

What is it?

The University of London (UoL) is a federation of 17 universities, including City St. George's. As a member you can access other universities within UoL, many of which have access to physical and electronic resources from the arts, humanities and social sciences.

Where can I access it?

The table below details what access you have to other UoL Univerisities.

Registration is either done directly or through the SCONUL access scheme. SCONUL access allows you to use up to 179 university libraries around the UK.

Why use it?

Access provided to UoL universities is more limited than Senate House. However each library listed may have items or resources unavailable elsewhere. Access is free.

How do I use it?

Check individual university websites for details of use. Most libraries function similarly to City St. George's, with a physical collection and e-resources on site.

Limitations and Notes

  • Access to resources varies based on your course and the library in question - always check before visiting
